After marrying in 1905, the pair settled in Paris – the centre of the rapidly evolving European art world – where Carrick Fox was surrounded by the innovations of Impressionism and the bold experimentation of Post-Impressionism. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eHer works were exhibited regularly at the Salon d’Automne and by 1911, she became a sociétaire of the Salon, serving as a jury member while continuing to submit as an established artist.
