This is a wonderful collector opportunity to acquire an iconic piece by one of the great artists of the 19th century. Originally printed in 1893, Toulouse Lautrecs renowned series Les Vieilles Histoires was a commissioned body of work comprised of five coloured stone lithographs, each an illustration and personal interpretation of poems by Jean Goudezki. These original lithographs were first published by Edouard Kleinmann in an edition of 100. Ta Bouche (Your Mouth) was the fifth plate in the series, first printed in 1893. The wonderful piece we have here is a coloured stone lithograph, restruck in the 1950s from the original plate. A highly collectible, sought after and incredibly rare piece.
