Criss Canning

Criss Canning, born in Melbourne, is a painter and printmaker that specialises in still life and landscapes. Working from her studio that adjoins her husband’s plant nursery in Ascot, she is reverred for her talents in composition, colour and precision.

 

Canning is represented by the National Gallery of Australia, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Ballarat Fine Art Gallery and her work can be found in collections all over the world. In 2007 she was the subject of a retrospective at Benalla Art Gallery that broke attendence records.
