Clinton Naina

Clinton Naina, a descendant of the G'ua G'ua and Meriam Mer peoples, is an urban indigenous multi-disciplinary artist, whose practice includes painting, photography, printmaking, installation and performance art. His works engage with a broad spectrum of indigenous issues in a way which was described as "pointed and strong but poignant and witty".

 

The artist’s works have been included in a number of important survey exhibitions of Australian contemporary indigenous art, and have been acquired by the National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of Victoria, numerous state, regional, and tertiary collections, as well as notable corporate and private collections across Australia and abroad.

 

The artist is represented by Gallerysmith in Melbourne and Art Atrium in Sydney.
