Dean Bowen is a prominent Australian contemporary artist based in Victoria. A highly distinctive printmaker, painter, and sculptor, his depictions of animals, humans, and domestic life create a world with a characteristic sense of youthful optimism. Through his unique aesthetic language, Bowen explores humanity and its place within social structures of the natural world.

With a practice spanning over 40 years, Bowen has exhibited regularly both nationally and internationally.
