Jodi Heffernan

B. 1967

Jodi Heffernan is a dedicated Australian printmaker whose environmentally focused practice draws on her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art Printmaking (Honours) from RMIT (1991) and over two decades of professional experience.

Engaging deeply with the Australian landscape, her work balances reflective nature studies with an interest in expressive artistry. Innovating beyond traditional printmaking, she incorporates delicate materials through a mixed-media approach that explores materiality and surface texture.

Renowned for their technical sophistication and ecological dialogue, Heffernan’s contemplative prints are held in major public collections, including the National Gallery of Australia, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, and the State Library of Victoria.
