Lucy Culliton

B. 1966 –

Lucy Culliton is one of Australia’s foremost contemporary and still life artists. Depicting the natural world, florals, animals and interiors, she takes rural culture as her inspiration, having completed a residency Royal Easter Show. Her work is finely detailed and luscious, infused with a keen eye for the world around her.

Culliton was honoured with a survey exhibition at Mosman Art Gallery in 2014, and is represented across public collections including at the National Gallery of Australia, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Macquarie Bank and Parliament House. She won the Portia Geach Memorial Award in 2006 and is a regular finalist in the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes.
