Considered a leader in Australian printmaking, Martin King’s work represents an ongoing exploration into the sublimity of the Australian landscape. His work crosses land, sky, sea and desert, considering the grandeur and threat at the heart of nature, told with mastery over his medium.
He is represented across collections, including at the National Gallery of Victoria, ArtBank, the Art Gallery of South Australia and Art Gallery of New South Wales. In 2019, he won the Gallipoli Art Prize and Muswellbrook Drawing Prize and in 2017/18 received the State Library of Victoria Creative Fellowship, among other accolades.
