Contemporary Australian artist Paul Yore works across installation, sound, video, collage, assemblage and textiles to create works that emerge distinctly from his own visual world. With a practice that brings together narratives of kitsch Australiana, sexually and politically charged imagery, and reference to popular culture, Yore creates works that are unapologetically personal, and highly responsive to the world around him.

Yore has exhibited in many major institutions across Australia and internationally, and his work is held in numerous private and public collections, including the Art Gallery of South Australia, National Gallery of Victoria and the Heide Museum of Modern Art. In 2022, he was the subject of a survey exhibition ‘Paul Yore: WORLD MADE FLESH’ at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art in Melbourne.
