Timothy Silver is a Hobart born, Sydney based artist. His mixed media approach to photography, sculpture and installation deals with the concept of time, change and decay. Parallel to this, he also explores the relationship between an object and its image. 

Silver's work is represented at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Art Gallery of New South as well as numerous other public collections in Australia and overseas.
