Art & Collectors presents Elsewhere: Land, Sea, Sky, Beyond, an exhibition that explores the myriad of ways Australian artists envision the landscape – from familiar places to imagined worlds, distant horizons and sacred lands.
Bringing together painting, printmaking and works on paper, the exhibition crosses land, sea and sky, inviting us to look outward, inward and elsewhere.

Memory and Light

Memory and Light – Explorations of a Multisensory Landscape is a solo exhibition by esteemed, legally blind artist Erica Tandori. Inspired by an encounter with J.M.W Turner’s sublime oil paintings, these works push for an experience of the Australian landscape beyond just sight. Composed from memory, sound and her perceptual experience of low vision, they are made to be touched and felt – evocations of what is revealed when the retina falters.
“My vision loss has made me more attentive to touch, sound and memory, but I don’t think blindness alone explains the work. Being an artist also means paying attention to experience and finding a form for it.”

Memory and Light was created with support from Creative Australia through the Arts and Disability Initiative. Tactile interpretation, raised-line imagery, audio description and large print labels will be available for blind, low-vision and sighted audiences.

You Belong to Me is an exhibition of art that celebrates love in its many incarnations. Bringing together works by modern and contemporary artists, it explores romance, friendship, family and our sense of place – from the people we love to the communities we call home.
In all the ways we find one another, perhaps the greatest joy is this: to be seen, to be loved and to know that there is a place where we belong.
