Susannah Bond is a Melbourne-based artist who is best known for her textural landscape and still life paintings. With a practice inspired by 20th Century French painters Nicolas de Stael and Bernard Cathelin, Bond uses oil paint and cold wax to create vibrantly coloured and harmoniously layered scenes. Bond often evokes a sense of nostalgia through her composed moments of still observation.

In her 2026 oil painting 'Fairy Pools, Isle of Sky', Bond represents the Scottish coastal landscape through her distinct artistic lens.
