Laura Castell is a contemporary printmaking artist based in Canberra, ACT. Originally from Venezuela, Castell has lived in Australia for over 30 years, often reflecting on her experiences of migration within her work. Initially trained as a biologist, her interest in natural environments and the human condition is infused throughout her printmaking.
