In 'Pyrophyte II', an original lithograph, Danielle Creenaune expresses the feeling of a place over its exactness. It recalls Japanese ink drawing, depicting a type of plant that has adapted to tolerate fire. Blackened yet standing, Creenaune’s tree is an impression of nature, how it rebirths after destruction.
