Ron Harbeck’s work is dreamlike. Washed in pastel light, he envisions a peaceful dock dotted with boats. So glassy is the water that the boat’s reflections streak straight down, creating a hypnotic illusion. In title and atmosphere, Harbeck evokes the bliss of relief after turmoil. 

Harbeck is an accomplished printmaker. For connoisseurs of prints and seaside scenes, ‘Safe Harbour’ is a mesmerising find.
