Ron Harbeck’s work is dreamlike. Washed in pastel light, he envisions New South Wales’s Pittwater, an estuary that separates Sydney from the Central Coast. The scene is idyllic – sailing boats glide like butterflies across the dappled water, soaking in the pleasures of spending time at sea.

Harbeck is an accomplished printmaker. An impression of this work is represented at the National Gallery of Australia, making ‘Pittwater!’ a wonderful find for collectors of prints and seaside scenes.
