Allen Jones' Untitled (from Album) (1971) embodies the provocative wit that made him one of the defining figures of British Pop Art. Juxtaposing eroticised figures with a boldly abstract face, Jones creates a visual dialogue between desire, identity and performance. Printed as a lithograph in a scarce edition of just 75, this work captures the artist at the height of his international influence, when fashion, advertising and fine art collided with exhilarating irreverence.

Minor spots of discolouration are present within the paper, predominantly in the white areas. These are consistent with the work’s age and are not considered visually distracting. The discolouration could be readily addressed through conservation if desired, or the work may be framed as is, where the marks are unlikely to be particularly noticeable and may be regarded as part of the work’s natural patina.
