Bruno Leti is a painter, filmmaker, printmaker, photographer and publisher. His practice is marked by elegant abstraction – musical arrangements in a restrained palette that recall abstract expressionism.
‘Aligumenti Series’ is an enigmatic work. In greyscale, Leti evokes a landscape – rippling water beneath a cloudy sky. But this is only an evocation, a feeling conjured by Leti’s mastery over abstraction.
Leti is a prestigious artist. He is represented at the National Gallery of Australia and the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC, among others. He is the recipient of numerous accolades, including the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant in New York, a State Library of Victoria Fellowship and residencies across the world.
For collectors of prints, this work is an elegant find.
