Sandra Leveson is a bright light in Australian art. Her luminous work is inspired by Geometric Op and Abstract Expressionism, combining European and Antipodean elements. Here however, she depicts two bilbies – delightfully scroungy little creatures, ears like antennae.

Leveson’s work is represented in numerous collections here and internationally, these include: the National Gallery of Australia; the Art Gallery of NSW; Art Gallery of SA; and numerous tertiary and regional collections.

For collectors of landscapes, Abstract Expressionism and works on paper, Leveson is an awe-inspiring find.
