"My name is Gwendolyn. I'm an artist, aunty, mother from Willowra in the Northern Territory, just above Yuendumu. I sometimes come to Irrunytju to visit my sister-in-law Eva Baker, who is a famous artist at Minyma Kutjara Artists. I have been painting here too whilst visiting with my mother and aunty Doris and June. I paint the Country around Willowra, the river beds and rock holes that are important to me."

This work is from Kutjara Minyma Arts Project — an Aboriginal arts centre in the remote community of Irrunytju (Wingellina), ten kilometres from where the borders of Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia meet. Artist initated and led, Minyma Kutjara is a proud celebration of community and Country, a place for artists to learn, explore, create and share culture.
