One of the founders of Melbourne’s ROAR collective, Mark Schaller’s work is like jazz. Cool, free-flowing and vibrant, he finds finds rhythm in the everyday. In ‘Fiji’, he captures a day at a Fijian market – there are tropical fruits, palm trees and stray chickens.
Schaller is a highly respected Australian artist. He is represented at the National Gallery of Victoria and has a hotel in Bendigo – The Schaller Studio – dedicated to him. This work will invigorate collectors of contemporary and Australian art, a vibrant evocation of island life.
