Brian Seidel was a highly accomplished artist. His former teacher, the acclaimed Jeffrey Smart once described Seidel's work as evocations of moments of rapture. That said however, his work could also be startlingly quiet - moments of reflection struck clear.

Seidel is represented in regional and public collections across Australia. A friend of Brain Dunlop, he is considered a significant Australian artist. For collectors of prints, 'Untitled (Seascape)' is a grounding find.
