Shaike Snir is an Israeli-Australian artist and printmaker. His work evokes a multiplicity of histories: Australian, Aboriginal, Jewish and personal. In ‘Iddo’s Cat’, he presents a geometric cat in soft browns and beiges. The cat depicted is his son's, thus this work is an intimate portrayal of family bonds.
