David Frazer is an esteemed artist born in Foster, Australia. His woodblock engravings are celebrated for their nostalgic, emotionally wrought effect. Touched by a sense of longing and isolation, his work is akin to a short film – engrossing, narrational and distinct. Popular subjects include Australian landscapes, buildings and wayfaring travellers traversing desolate rural spaces.
Frazer’s work is in public collections such as at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. He has been exhibited internationally, including at the Chiangmai Contemporary Art Museum, Thailand.
