Jordy Kerwick is a self-taught artist who began his painting career in 2016. A striking synthesis of ancient iconography, Modernist traditions, and pop culture, his work has achieved global recognition for his dynamic and fiercely expressionistic style. 

Creating his own contemporary folklore, Kerwick’s paintings feature mythical beasts and unusual zoomorphic hybrids. Unexpected combinations of bold colour palettes, tactile layers and intricate patterns evoke the artist’s distinctive energy as his canvases pulsate with the energy. 

Raised in Australia and now based in France, Kerwick’s work is exhibited extensively and collected in institutions globally across the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
