Susan Norrie

Susan Norrie is a key figure in Australian art. Her practice spans painting, film and installation, exploring environmental, geological and socio-political issues. Fusing these mediums, Norrie’s approach is calm, cerebral and meditative, raising prescient issues about life today.
She is represented at the National Gallery of Australia (NGA), the National Gallery of Victoria and internationally at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. In 2021 she was included in the NGA’s inaugural ‘Know My Name Exhibition’.
