Victor Majzner is an acclaimed Jewish-Australian artist. His work is held across public collections, including at the National Gallery of Victoria and the Art Gallery of New South Wales, as well as in numerous regional and tertiary collections. He is the recipient of many art awards and has participated in over fifty-five exhibitions.
Majzner’s work is celebrated for its vivid, surreal quality. An intricate web of colour, shape and meaning, he draws out a spectrum of moral issues: spirituality, the plight of the oppressed and environmental degradation. For him, art makes the invisible visible.
