Violeta Capovskas Fons Amoris is an expressive etching, with dynamic, vibrant colours and a distinctive textured surface. In the liturgical sequence of this feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, Mary is honoured with the title of Fons Amoris which is French for "fount of love".
Violeta Copovskas work is included in many public collections: National Gallery of Australia, Ballarat Fine Art Gallery, National Gallery of Macedonia, Museum of Contemporary Art- Skopje, Museum of the City of Skopje, and many private collections. She was the recipient of the James Northfield Lithography scholarship in 2016. In 2021 she won 2 months Art residency at the Cité International in Paris.
