Hannah Caprice is a contemporary printmaker based in Melbourne, Victoria. Caprice’s work features eccentric creatures searching for solace and belonging. These themes reflect on her background being raised in a cross-cultural household, where Caprice sought comfort in being an “adaptable misfit.” Her fantastical creatures are an ode to self-acceptance.
Caprice has been listed as a finalist in several notable art prizes, including the National Capital Art Prize, Hornsby Art Prize and Geelong Gallery Acquisitive Print Award. She was the recipient of the prestigious Honours Fine Art Travelling Award by RMIT on completion of her degree.
