Noel McKenna's range is impressive, winning prizes for his scenes of the South Coast to being declared by the National Gallery of Victoria as the country's best painter of Chihuahuas. The artist's core talent is the ability to miraculously balance humour and melancholy.

McKenna's work is represented in most prominent public collections. He is also the recipient of many prestigious prizes, including five times for the Trustees Watercolour Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
