Described as among the most outstanding colourists of his generation, the Adelaide-based Jim Thalassoudis has been exhibiting regularly throughout Australia, South-East Asia, and the United States since the mid-1980s. A finalist in the 2015 Wynne Prize, the artist has attained a curatorial and collectors’ following.

His works have been acquired by the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Parliament House Collection, selected regional and tertiary institutions, as well as notable corporate and private collections in Australia and abroad.
